Jayme recently got married herself, so she understands how important it is to have a great style that lasts through the ceremony, dancing, and weather. Jayme can help you secure your hair properly so you have a picture-perfect look all day!
Keep reading below, to learn some of Jayme’s tips for having the best hair day on your big day!
Jayme’s Tips for Brides and Wedding Party!:
1) Schedule an appointment for a consultation. I suggest that you make the appointment at least 4 weeks before the wedding. Let me know that it is a consultation for a bridal style. I will need to know if you want an formal up-do, soft curly locks, or another special style. Are you wearing a veil or tiara or another head piece? Is your hair long or short? Do you want a cut and color on the consultation day also?
2) Don’t forget your bridesmaids! You probably want your bridesmaids to have a slightly different style than the bride. Book consultations for them too, especially if one of your bridesmaids wear their hair differently than the rest. For instance, if all of your bridesmaids have medium to long hair, except for one, I will need to adjust the style to make her hair as similar to the other girls as I can.
3) If you want something specific, please bring in a picture. We also have books in our salon for you to look through. Jayme is familiar with all the latest up-do’s and bridal looks because she stays up to date by attending conferences and trade shows, ask her for a suggestion!
4) If you have a tiara or veil that you would like me to work into your style please bring this to the consultation. I will need to look at it to see how I can properly secure it in your hair and make it look great with the style you want.
5) The great thing about Mia & Maxx is we have several great hairsylist that can do several people in your wedding party at once! And don’t forget that other family members and friends will want their hair to look as great as yours! Tell them that you are going to Miz & Maxx and remind them to schedule an appointment too!
6) Be sure to be on time for all of your appointments. It is very important that we have the most amount of time possible to concentrate on you!
7) When you come in on your big day, don’t forget that tiara, veil, or headpiece!
