Before attending LCCC, I graduated from Thompson High School in 2003 with a GPA of 4.0. I have also continued my education further towards a business degree. I hope to use the knowledge from my business courses to continue my success in the hair and fashion industries. I have also continued my training by participating in seminars and conferences throughout the country. Traveling to places as close as Orlando or as far as Minnesota and New York, to learn new industry trends and advanced techniques. Some of the trends and techniques I have studied are: bridal or party styles and up-do’s, razor hair cutting, blonde color special training, training in several product lines, extensive training on the fundamentals of color, as well as fresh color patterns, and the techniques of popular industry leaders. I also did an apprenticeship after college, with a 20-year seasoned stylist. During my apprenticeship, I learned how to do dry-cuts in the style of John Sahag. Currently, I work exclusively at Mia & Maxx Hair Studio in The Oaks Mall. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, golfing, trying new hair products, and blogging!
